MAKI ROLLS
A small segment cut from a long roll of rice and various other ingredients wrapped in a sheet of seaweed.

GUNKAN
This style of sushi is called a gunkan-maki battle ship roll, since the tight nori wrap resembles battleships.

SASHIMI
Sashimi is a Japanese delicacy consisting of very fresh fish sliced into thin pieces

NIGIRI
Sushi consisting of a small ball of rice with a touch of wasabi and topped with raw fish or other seafood.

TEMAKI
A large cone-shaped piece of nori on the outside and the ingredients spilling out the wide end.

FUTOMAKI
A large cylindrical piece, usually with nori on the outside. They are often made with two, three, or more fillings that are chosen for their complementary tastes and colors.

Oshi Sushi
Also known as “pressed sushi”. A block-shaped piece is formed using a wooden mold, called an Oshibako. The chef lines the bottom of the Oshibako with the toppings, covers them with sushi rice, and then presses the lid of the mold down to create a compact, rectilinear block.

We offer a sushi delivery service during our dinner hours of 15:30 to 5 minutes before close. Minimum of 15 euro order. (may charge delivery fee)
